Elder

I live in Havering and have been married to my husband, Justice, for 37 years. We are blessed with three adult sons and five wonderful grandchildren. Justice and I first met through our shared love of music as members of a Ghanaian gospel band called Joyful Way Incorporated. We still enjoy meeting and ministering with other members of the group who are now based in the UK.


We have been worshipping at Romford Elim Church since May 2000 and became members in 2003. Over the years, I have had the privilege of serving the church in several ways, including being the Treasurer for the past seven years.


I also worked with children and young people in Sunday School for about 16 years and led the church’s Christmas nativity musical for several years. More recently, I was part of the church building project team and had the honour of leading that team until December 2025.


In my working life, I am an accountant and have held senior leadership roles in different organisations, including charities, social housing, and universities. These roles have included Chief Financial Officer, Deputy Chief Executive, and Pro Vice-Chancellor. I also serve as a Non‑Executive Director on an infrastructure fund board, and through my own company I support leaders and boards with finance, strategy, and organisational change.
